The journey begins with a transfer from Moshi to Machame Gate, the starting point of the trek. After completing registration and other formalities, the trekking team will begin the trek to Machame Camp. This initial hike takes you through lush rainforest, setting the stage for the days to come.

You will hike from Machame Camp to Shira Cave. The terrain gradually changes from rainforest to moorland, offering incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro's southern glaciers. The camp is situated near Shira Plateau, a stunning highland plateau with panoramic views.

The route continues from Shira Cave to Lava Tower, which serves as an acclimatization day. This day’s hike will take you to higher altitudes, allowing your body to adjust to the thinning air. After reaching Lava Tower, you will descend to Barranco Camp for overnight rest, which is beneficial for proper acclimatization.

You will descend further to Barranco Camp before heading up again to Karanga Camp. The day includes navigating the famous Barranco Wall, which is an exciting but not difficult climb, providing views of the surrounding landscape.

You will make your way from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp. This is the final camp before the summit. The day is relatively short, allowing you time to rest and prepare for the summit night ascent.

The final push begins! You will depart from Barafu Camp in the early morning hours and trek up to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. After reaching the top, you will descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

You will descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate. Here, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel in Arusha for a celebratory evening and an opportunity to relax and reflect on the achievement.

After a restful night, you will be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
